Writing: I work as a corporate chaplain (squarepatch.org) and work out my ideas in writing form. I realize that blogging really isn’t a thing anymore but I using it to leave a digital footprint for my son’s. As a chaplain, I get called Chap or Chappy all the time. So I named my site El Chappy.
Music: When I am not working, I play drums and record tracks for artists. I started a trio and I am using my site name for it because I like it!
Booking / Marketing: The site is also used to promote and market the musical part of El Chappy.
I am originally from North Orange County and have been living in Oceanside for almost 20 years. I love being a chaplain and a musician!
Best moments when playing? That moment you click with the band and the audience. The vibe is real! We’re creating moments to savor and get us through.
